I know many who are reading this have heard some of the stories already. In case you don't recall or haven't heard, let me take you down "Sedino memory lane. "
So do you remember when...
*...Jared was in the 2nd grade, and he asked his teacher why she wore the same earrings everyday. He then informed her that Jesus didn't want her to wear them anymore.
*...Jared scolded his little Brother, Jonah, for popping (i.e. passing gas) in church. He then told Jonah (I imagine shaking his finger), " You are not suppose to do that! I don't pop in church, or in school. I only pop at home. And so does Daddy!" --this story courtesy of Cheli.
*...Jared was 4 or 5 yrs. old. and Lionel (my Pastor's Brother-in-law) preached at our church. Well, Lionel mentioned in his sermon how the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 yrs. Then you hear Jared shout from the back of the church, "Are You Sure?"
*...Jared had an "itch" , and pulled his pants down in church to "scratch". Thank goodness, he was only 3 yrs. old at the time. We sat in the back of the church for a reason. We've since moved up.
*...Kandra as a three yr. old asked one of her older relatives (who needed dental work), "What happened to your teeth?"
*...Kandra decided to smear peanut butter on our sofa and living room walls (she was 3).
*...Jared (7yrs. old) told a Whataburger employee (who also needed dental work) when we were ordering "Hey! you have a loose tooth just like me!"
*...Jared (and this happened more than once) told someone who came to shake his Daddy's hand, "Hey, don't talk to my Dad, we don't know you."
*...there for a while, everytime we went to Wal*Mart, Jared, and Jonah would stop when they saw the big US and Texas flags hanging down by the check-out area. In a loud voice, they would pledge their allegience to the flags.
Having said all that, I thank God for letting me be Kandra, Jared, and Jonah's Mom.
