Jared: "Mom, I don't think you love me."
Me (my heart sank hearing that): "Mijo, why would you ever say that?"
Jared: "Because you make me take my pill."
Me: "Jared, I love you. I give you the pill so you can concentrate in school. I care about how you do in school. Baby, don't ever say that I don't love you. Mommy loves you sooooo much. It breaks my heart hearing you say that I don't love you. Believe me, I love you, Mijo."
Jared: "VERY WELL THEN, CARRY ON."
and then he just walked away......
