funeral

My husband's aunt died this past week. Her funeral was today. As we were leaving the church, Angelique told me a cute story I must share with all of you:

Earlier, when Angelique was getting her Little Ones (a two and three year old) ready to go, she explained to them that they had to be quiet and behave. Joseph, excitedly, turns to Amaya and says,

"OH! I love funerals! We are going to have fun....they have lots of rides!!!"

"Uhhhhh , no Mijo, we are not going to a Carnival," his Mom explained, " it's a funeral."

Well, that kind of burst his bubble, don't ya think?
