this week, my boys attended a children's crusade. they really enjoyed the puppets, songs, and games. jared won a prize for playing a hula hoop game. at the end of the service, they had an altar call. there was a ministry team of teenagers who were praying for the young kids who went up to the altar. the team was praying for the kids--and jared was praying for the team (yes, the laying on of hands ...i have a true pentecostal kid).
later that night, kandra asked jonah about the crusade. this was the conversation:
Kandra: "Jonah, what did you do at the crusade?"
Jonah: " I asked Jesus to clean my heart. Have you asked Jesus to clean to your heart?"
Kandra: "Yes, I have. When I was 4 years old."
Jonah (with eyes full of amazement): "Wow, are you still clean?"
