Everytime one of my kids' birthday is nearing, I tend to get very nostalgic. Jonah is having a birthday on Thursday. So what do I do? I pull out the home video of when he was born, eating his first solid food, and learning to walk. I can't stop there. I then watch Jared and Kandra's homevideos when they were babies. My kids love to watch them with me. We've been watching them for days.
While we were eating supper, Jonah was looking out the window and watching our dog, Millie.
You could tell he had something on his mind. He finally asked, "Mom, why wasn't Millie around when I was a baby?" I then explained to him that she wasn't born yet (we didn't get our dog until 2006). Jonah then says, " Oh. Was she in your tummy?"
