Jared is obsessed with calendars (I never have to flip the calendars around the house. He takes care of that since it will drive him crazy if it's on the wrong month). Well, he was going through his phone's calendar. A few minutes later, he was really upset! This was our conversation:
JJ: "Mom, why is there a February 29th in 2012? It shouldn't be there. How do I delete it?"
Me: "You can't delete it. Its' there bcuz 2012 is a leap year (I then try to explain leap year to him, but he will have none of it).
JJ: "No. I don't want it there. I am gonna delete it, somehow."
Me: (to Mac who was standing next to me) "What is it with Jared and calendars and dates??"
Mac: (jokingly) "He must be a Mayan."
Jared: (shouts)"I am NOT a Lion!"
(Jared continued to 'scroll down' to subsequent years all the way up to 2020 just to make sure I wasn't lying about leap year occurring every 4 yrs.)
And so is life with Jared. (sigh) Love him! Kind of reminds me of the time when he didn't believe in 'silent letters'.
