Thank you, Lord , for 40 years!

So grateful to celebrate 40 yrs of life. You've heard it before, and I just have to say it again: God has NEVER left my side.
Wanted to share the video below. A few days ago, I found a lost cassette tape. My parents had recorded me singing when I was about 2 or 3 yrs old. Well, I decided, since I have not made a photo slide show of JUST me in a while, this would be a good time to make one and use my 3 yr old voice and my daddy (who passed away 10 yrs ago) accompanying me on the guitar, as the background music.

Now, if you grew up in a spanish A/G church in the 70's like I did, you will recognize the songs.
Song #1:
Una mirada de fé,
una mirada de fé,
es la que puede salvar al pecador

Y si tú vienes a Cristo Jesús,         (I couldn't say "Cristo", so it sounded like "QUITO")
El te perdonará,
porque una mirada de fé,
es la que te puede salvar.

Song #2:
Counldn't say "barquita" (a small boat), so i sang "vaquita" (which means a cow")
Yo tengo una barquita

Que va navegando
Que va navegando
Navegando va

Se ladea por allá
Se ladea por acá
Pero Cristo la sostendrá

Song #3
Alelu, Aleluya, Aleluya
Aleluya, que bueno es el Señor
Alelu, Aleluya, Aleluya
Aleluya, que bueno es el Señor

Song #4 - well, I'm not too sure of the lyrics, but I do know it's about the signs of the end times and how soon Christ is coming. Anyone out there know the song?

I could only find a few photos of me, so you might have to see the pics twice, before the end of the four songs. Don't laugh too hard.

Wow, this takes me back. It was good to hear your dad playing his guitar while you sang. Precious memories. I'm going to have to share this with my folks. Glad that you've also learned to pronounce the words. :)
