Jonah: "Awwww...thank you Mommy and Daddy. That's neat. Thank you."
(He sets down the unwrapped gift, but does NOT open the box. He then starts to open other gifts.)
Me: (noticing that the box has not been opened) Jonah, aren't you going to open it?"
Jonah: "Well, I think we already have some like these, so I'll just open it when the others are used up."
OH MY WORD, my kid actually thought I had bought him a set of bowls instead of the toy inside. He at least knows how to be grateful. Love you, Jonah!!!
