April is here

Stayed home today with Jonah. I'm still feeling slight discomfort and a little swelling from my oral surgery yesterday. Not the best way to start a new month - but I still feel blessed beyond measure. God is always good.

Didn't blog much in March...I think I gave too much attention to tweets on Twitter. Let's see, do I have any stories about the kids? Two come to mind.

Here's one from Jared's teacher (copied straight from an email I received from her):

Mrs. B (another teacher) was working with him on a Social Studies activity that required him to list and describe types of weather in Texas. She mentioned HAIL and asked Jared if he knew what that meant. He said (as if she had just asked him a completely stupid question), “It’s a place where you go and burn up.”

Here's a Jonah story: Jonah came home missing a sticker on his folder. He got a "yellow" on his behavior because he talked after he was given a warning.

Me: "Why did you continue to talk after you were told to stop?"

Jonah: "I stopped talking. I was whispering!"
